Gallows Hill
Nineteen of the accused witches were hanged on Gallows Hill. One accused witch was pressed to death. Other accused witches died in prison.
- Bridget Bishop, the first convicted witch, was hanged on June 10, 1692.
- Rebecca Nurse, Sarah Good, Susannah Martin, Elizabeth Howe, and Sarah Wildes were hanged on June 19, 1692.
- George Burroughs, Martha Carrier, John Willard, John Proctor, and George Jacobs, Sr. were hanged on August 19, 1692.
- Giles Corey was pressed on by heavy stones to death on September 19, 1692 when he failed to plead guilty or not guilty.
- Martha Corey, Mary Eastery, Ann Pudeator, Alice Parker, Mary Parker, Wilmott Redd, Margaret Scott, and Wardwell were hanged on September 22, 1692.
- Sarah Osborne, Roger Toothaker, Lyndia Dustin, and Ann Foster are few of the accused witches that died in prison.
